There are many people who love art, and when they want to see a work of art many of them choose the theatre. Why do they choose the theatre? The answer is simple: because they want and they need to live the art among the theatrical characters, they want to understand the story that they have probably read better. The theatre is vibrant, thrilling, exciting and the characters create a bond with the audience, with the public, and make them fell the work of art that they are playing. A theatre show will tell the story lie no book or movie could. It is like living the story yourself. There are many theatrical genres, for instance there are comedies, pantomimes, drama, romance, and much more.
The majority of people prefer to see a comedy, because it will light their day, it will make them forget about all their social problems for a moment. This is the reason that the theatre is full of auditors when the characters play comedies, but it doesn’t mean that the other theatrical genres aren’t appreciated in the same way. There are many authors of theatrical works, whose works are played constantly on the biggest scene of the world, by great actors. For instance William Shakespeare, Pierre Corneille, Moliere, Sophocles and many others who’s writings are now being played in theaters all around the world for many years now.
Many of these authors are known by everyone, and probably many of us have books of these authors in our homes but there is a great difference between reading the book and between watching the story of the book in a theatre. To experience both the reading and the theatre, we always appreciate a good play.
It is interesting to see how the directors are viewing the story. When you read the book you imagine the story from your perspective, which in some times or for some parts of the story is not the same as the director has imagine it. It is even more interesting when you see a story that is put in a play by different directors and you immediately notice that their perspectives or the approach for the story is completely different. This way you will be able to see all the sub-bases of that story and understand even better the message of the author.
Theater shows are unfortunately going through a period when people prefer going to the cinema; especially teenagers prefer seeing a 3D movie instead of seeing real scenes.
Among the most appreciated theater shows are the musicals. The audience for this shows are very big. Also, very appreciated are the shows that are for children. Children will love these shows and will always want to go for one.
If one hasn’t experienced before a theater show they should not miss the chance. The feelings that you can feel here can sometimes cheat you in thinking they are real. Theater is also a way of spending time in a very pleasant way together with the person you love. A date to a theater show can be a great way to impress.
